Mrs. Lillian Spence Passes Away Suddenly
Enterprise, Oregon
Mrs. Lillian Spence, long-time resident of Wallowa county, Passed away at the Enterprise hospital yesterday (Wednesday) morning at 8 o’clock.
Mrs. Spence, who for the past nine and a half years, had lived at the home of her son, W.H. Spence, in this city, appeared to be in her usual health until last Saturday, when she took sick and was removed to the hospital. Even then her condition was not considered serious and her death was unexpected. She observed her 74th birthday on April 1st.
Funeral arrangements have not been made, pending the arrival of her son from Portland, where he is employed in the Internal Revenue office.
