Entered service May 15, 1918, at Lenoir County, transferred to Quantico, Va., July 1, 1918, then to Philadelphia Aug. 1, 1918. Sailed for Brest Aug. 13, 1918. Fought at St. Mihiel, Mont Blanc, Argonne. Wounded at Mont Blanc, skull fractured Oct. 4, 1918. Sent to Base Hospital, 202 Orleans. Returned to USA Aug. 4, 1919. Mustered out at Quantico, Va., Sept. 1, 1919.
