Sent to Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Transferred to Hoboken, N. Y. Sailed for France Sept. 15, 1917. Fought at Verdun Front, two months, March to June, 1918. Chateau Thierry June and July, 1917. Gassed at Verdun. Instructor Inf. Tactics 61st Brigade, Camp Wheeler, Ga. Instructor 20th Div., 48th Inf. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., Jan. 13, 1919.
