Capt., Med. Corps. Field Hospital No. 42, 1st Army. Born in Northampton County; the son of Mr. and Mrs. I. P. Parker. Husband of Mrs. Bertha Joyner Parker. Entered the service Dec. 13, 1917, at Garysburg, N.C. Was sent to Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. Sailed for France May 23, 1918. Promoted to rank of Lt. Sept. 24, 1917, and to rank of Capt. Feb. 17, 1919. Fought at Meuse-Argonne. Arrived in USA April 20, 1919; landed at Hoboken, N. J. Was mustered out at Camp Dix, N. J., April 23, 1919.
