JOHN ALLEN, b. in 1756, was a Revolutionary soldier. Spent a portion of
his life in Cornish and d. May 5, 1845. His wife, Sally, was b. in 1758, and d. June 10, 1831. Both are buried at the Flat. The full list of their children has not been obtained.

1. JOHN ALLEN, JR., was b. in 1784, and d. on the Flat April 21, 1848. He was twice m.: first, Dolly ; second, April 25, 1805, Hannah Goldthwaite, who was b. in 1785 and d. Oct. 23, 1823. Had several children.
