Abbigadasset

Abbigadasset,  An Abenaki sachem whose residence was on the coast of Maine near the mouth of Kennebec River.

He conveyed tracts of land to Englishmen conjointly with Kennebis.  In 1667 he deeded Swans Island to Humphrey Davy12
