Edward Harry Brehmer, 79, died June 27, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Nursing Home.

At his request, Edward was cremated and there will be no memorial service.

Edward married Iva Jeanne Jensen in 1956.

After spending six years in the U.S. Navy, he worked as a logger for 10 years and ran his own logging business for five years.

He left the logging industry in 1979 to open a restaurant, which he sold in 1989.

Edward was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife; his son, Jerry of Grangevill, Ill.; and his sister, Myra, of southern Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, one brother and two sisters.
