1762 Burials

The following data is extracted from Church Record of Old Ebenezer Church, Effingham County, Georgia.

Mary Magdalene Graeves died May 5, 1762, and was buried on the 6th in the Town cemetery. Her age was 5 years.

John Andrew Heintz, a child of 8 months, died May 21, 1762, and was buried on the 22nd in the Plantation cemetery.

Christian Israel Graeves, 8 years and 11 months old, died in the evening of June 14, 1762, and was buried on the 15th towards evening.

John Haid, a child of 4 years and 4 months, less 4 days, died June 19, 1762, and was buried on the 20th.

Benaiah Wertsch, a child of 7 months less 4 days, died June 25, 1762, and was buried on the 26th.

John Heinle, i year and 6 months old less 3 days, died June 27, 1762, and was buried on the 26th.

Leonhard Krause died June 29, 1762, and was buried on the 30th in the Plantation cemetery.

Rebecca Niess, 3 years and 8 1/2 months old, died early before day June 30, 1762, and was buried towards evening of the same day.

Elizabeth Gnann, a child of 4 years, died July 5, 1762, and was buried on the 6th.

Clara Straub died Aug. 10, 1762, and was buried on the 11th in the Plantation cemetery.

Lawrence Eigel died Oct. 3, 1762, and was buried on the 4th.

John Adam Klein died Oct. 4, 1762, and was buried on the 5th. His age was 3 years.

Amelia, a baptized Negro girl, died Aug. 14, 1762 in the night and received Christian burial on the 15th in the Town cemetery. Her age 1 year and 1 month.

Lydia Waldhauer, a child of 2 years, died Aug. 16, and was buried on the 17th in the Town cemetery.

Unseld died Nov. 9, 1762, and was buried on the Plantation cemetery on the 10th. His age, 70 years.

Rupert Eischperger died Nov. 13, 1762, and was buried on the 14th.

Angelica Heckel died Nov. 24, 1762, and was buried on the 25th in the Town cemetery.

Up to this point the deceased have been reported.
