Mr. Rockwell was born in Fredonia, N. Y. Aug. 11, 1857. He is now (1901) successfully engaged in the dry goods business in the village of Wellsville, N. Y. where he has been for the past nineteen years. He is an influential member of the Methodist Episcopal Church; is also N. Y. State treasurer of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
