Reservation Roll ~ 1817

A listing of those receiving a 640 acre tract in the east and permitted to reside there.  This was in lieu of removing to Arkansas.  This was only good during their lifetime and then the property reverted back to the state.  It has been suggested that this information is incorrect, the cited source is 8th article of the Treaty of 1817 and the 3rd article of the Treaty of 1819 which can be found at http://digital.library.okstate.edu/kappler/index.htm, I invite each of you to read the treaty and decide for yourself.   Article 8

They also could not leave this property, abandonment caused it to revert to the state.
