George Everroad, aged 84, died Sunday evening at 6 o’clock [October 19, 1919] at the home of his brother, William Everroad south of Hope.
Death came from illness due to the infirmities of old age.
He is survived by the widow The funeral was held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Moravian Church in Hope, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. Pluck. Burial was made in the Moravian Cemetery. [The Evening Republican, October 21, 1919, p. 4]
