White, Marcie N. Corr Mrs. – Obituary

Marcie N. White, 36, of Baker City, died April 15, 2007, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Boise.

Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2625 Hughes Lane. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Bishop David Richards of the Second Ward will officiate. Friends are invited to join the family after the service for a reception in the fellowship hall.

Visitations will be until 5 p.m. today at Gray’s West & Co. Pioneer Chapel, 1500 Dewey Ave.

Marcie was born Nov. 2, 1970, at Laramie, Wyo. She came to live in Sumpter in 1979. She grew up in Sumpter as a young girl and then later moved to Baker City. She was a 1989 Baker High School graduate.

She married Robert White in 1996. They had two children, Darlene, 15, and Robbie, 10.

Marcie was a loving and caring daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, and friend.

“Those of us who were fortunate enough to have Marcie touch our lives will forever mourn her absence,” her family said. “Marcie will be forever missed but never forgotten.”

She enjoyed fishing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and watching her children, nieces, and nephews play sports. Marcie always had time for others and made everyone feel loved and welcome.

Marcie was employed in several jobs throughout the years. She had worked at Albertsons and Marvin Wood Products and cared for people with mental handicaps and Alzheimer’s disease.

Survivors include her husband, Robert White of Baker City and their children, Darlene and Robbie; her father, Harold R. Corr; mother, Darlene C. Corr; brother, Harold L.; and three sisters, Leona, Teresa and Jeannie; many nieces and nephews; and one great-niece and two great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James G. Ford, Mary M. Ford and Harold V. Corr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association through Gray’s West & Co., 1500 Dewey Ave., Baker City, OR 97814.
