Ellen Berdene Tidwell (Bloom), 71, of Baker City, died June 26, 2009.
Berdene was born Sept. 28, 1937, in Oregon. She married Charles H. Tidwell in 1963 and raised a family in the South, returning to Baker City to retire.
She most loved being a mother and grandmother, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patti and Lloyd Shaver; her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Audrey Tidwell; her grandchildren, Rachel and T.L., Mike, Jean, Cliff and Charlie; and her great-grandchildren, Nykole, Aaron and Chianne.

Please know that Berdene had other children and grandchildren. She was loved by someone else. And maybe that someone else isn’t acknowledged by others…..but she loved and appreciated her birthmother and will be forever grateful that she gave her life.
I just wish that I could have gotten past all the “what if’s” and “unanswered questions” and appreciated the absolutes!! ❤️ Whoever is reading this, embrace those that God has put in your life. Unforgiveness is a poison and only hurts you and those you love. Life is too short for regrets. Psalm 139:13-18.
