Evelyn Witham Grant, 90, a former Baker City resident, died Oct. 8, 2002, at Clackamas.
The rosary was said and there was a memorial service Oct. 15 at Zeller Chapel of the Roses. The Rev. Patrick Donoghue was the celebrant. Interment was in the Willamette National Cemetery.
Mrs. Grant was born on Nov. 26, 1911, at Baker City to William E. and Maud M. Witham. She was a 1929 Baker High School graduate. She worked at J.C. Penney.
She married W. C. Grant on June 17, 1941. She worked for the war industries during World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary; a son, Jim; and two brothers, Thomas H. and Harvey E.Witham, both of Baker City.
