Artie Blanche Sturm was born at Paradise Oct. 2, 1903, the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sturm. She grew to womanhood in the Paradise community and completed her schooling at the Deer Creek school.

On June 29, 1926, she was married to T.E. Bunnel at La Grande. They lived at Paradise until January, 1928 when they moved to Redmond. In 1933 they moved back to Paradise. In July 1937 they took the Paradise post office and have since been in charge of it.

Mrs. Bunnel was a kind, loving mother and wife, always thinking of others instead of herself. The last few years Mrs. Bunnel had been in poor health but never complaining. She will be greatly missed by all.

Her mother, father, one brother and daughter, have preceded her. She was survived by her husband, three children, Lovina, Thomas Jackson and Vivian Blanche, two brothers, William Sturm, of Paradise and Harry Miller of Sacramento, Calif., and a host of relatives.
