Services Today For Wayne Bay
Wayne Alfred Bay, a farmer of Imnaha until retiring to Enterprise three or four years ago, passed away at Wallowa Memorial hospital on Monday, October 2, 1967. He had been in failing health about four years and a hospital patient four days.
He was the son of Charles and Lucretia Bay and was born August 11, 1889 near Enterprise. On October, 1, 1911 he was married at Enterprise to Adda Ownbey who survives him. He had lived most of his life on Imnaha.
Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Elsie (Bonneita) Lewis of Imnaha; a son, Arthur D. Bay of Salem; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 2 p. m at the Bollman Chapel with the Rev. James E. Jones officiating.
Pallbearers are: Fred Wagner, Roy Foster, Ferman Warnock, A. L. Duckett, Lloyd Doss and Louis Warnock. Organ music will be provided by Mrs. Luella Miller.
