Strimple, Theodore L.; lawyer; born, Richland, O., April 25, 1859; son of John and Mary Elizabeth Viers Strimple; educated, Baldwin University; graduated class of 1884, degree of Ph. B.; married, Cleveland, June, 1892, Allie L. Wright; issue, Pauline M., age 18 years, and Theodore Lawrence, age 16 years; county school examiner, 1888 to 1891; prosecuting atty., 1894-1898; Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of the third Subdivision of the Fourth Judicial District of Ohio from Feb. 9, 1899, to Jan. 1, 1911; school teacher and educator until admitted to the bar in June of 1886; practiced law; firm name of Wilcox & Strimple, until he became asst. prosecuting atty., in 1891; retired from the Bench in January, 1911; has been practicing law since; Masonic, veteran member of Forest City Lodge, No. 388, F. & A. M.; Lake Shore Lodge, No. 6, K. of P.; member Chamber of Commerce, and Colonial Club.
