Owen Norfleet McDowell

Private 1st Class, Medical Corps, 319 Ambulance Co., 80th Div., Reg. 305, Sanitary; of Halifax County; son of W. O. and Mrs. Olivia Lawrence McDowell. Entered service Sept. 7, 1917, at Richmond, Va. Sent to Camp Lee, Va. Sailed for France May 25, 1918. Fought at Artois Sector, St. Mihiel, Argonne twice. Enlisted at Richmond, Sept. 7th, 1917. Mustered out at Camp Dix June 9, 1919.
