2nd Class Musician, Hdqrs. Co., 113th F. A. Entered service July 23, 1917, at Kannapolis, N.C. Sent to Camp Sevier, S. C., then to Camp Mills. Sailed for France May 26, 1918. Fought at St. Mihiel Sept. 12th to 18th; Argonne Forest, Oct. 8th to 12th. Landed at Newport News, Va., March 18, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., March 29, 1919.
