Sailed for France June 6, 1918. Fought at Ypres, Belgium, and Bellicourt. Wounded at battle of Bellicourt Sept. 29, 1918, by shell in hip. Sent to Base Hospital No. 29, Tottenham, Eng. Returned to the USA April 13, 1919, and mustered cut of the service at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 18, 1919.
