C. Transferred to Camp Merritt. Sailed for France May 17, 1918. Promoted to rank of Sergt. Jan. 10, 1918. Fought at Ypres Lys Offensive, Somme Offensive. Returned to USA April 13, 1919. Mustered out at Camp Jackson, S. C., April 18, 1919.
