Rufus G. Badger

RUFUS G. BADGER of Norwich, Vt., the son of Nathan and Lucy (George) Badger, was b. in 1824. Came to Cornish about 1849; m. April 9, 1850, Clarissa B. Burr of Cornish, dau. of Ebenezer and Mary (Hall) Burr, b. July 26, 1826. He was a tailor for a time. Spent most of the remainder of his life in town. He d. June 5, 1882. His widow d. in Marlow July 1. 1905. Both buried in Cornish. Children:

i CHARLES A., b. March 5, 1851; d. young.
ii. GEORGE F., b. March 8, 1852; d. Jan. 27, 1878, of lockjaw.
iii. ANNIE N., b. April 23, 1854; m. first, May 3, 1877, Newell J. Comings of Cornish. He d. Nov. 17, 1878; m. second, Aug., 23, 1884, Eugene F. Huntley. They live in Marlow.
iv. WILLIAM H., b. March 30, 1856. Lives in Keene.
v. OLIVER B., b. Aug. 30, 1861. Lives in Alstead.
