Long-time Ellensburg resident Anna K. Milns died early Wednesday at a local rest home.She was 89.
Born November 26, 1880 at St. James, Minn., she came to the Ellensburg area with her family when she was 2. In 1909 she was marred to Martin Wippel. He died in 1915. In 1930 she married Frank Milns and they moved to Auburn where they resided for 10 years. Following his death in 1941, she returned to Ellensburg where she has since made her home.
She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Altar Society and the Golden Age Club. Rosary will be said at St. Andrews, Friday at 7:30 p.m. Requiem mass at St. Andrews will be Saturday, 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
