News was received in Union Wednesday morning of Jorg Christenson, in Dalton, Minn., who died on August 16. Mr. Christenson was the father of Chris Christenson, former editor of the Oregon Scout, and was well known in this community. He left here a little over a year ago, going back to Minn., where his death occurred. Meager accounts of the death failed to state the cause. Age of deceased was 66 years, 1 month.
His daughter, Anna Christenson, of Boise, Ida., left that place Wednesday evening for Minn., where she will take charge of the funeral arrangements.
The wife of the deceased, Mrs. J. Christenson, is now living in Union, as well as a daughter, Mrs. O. M. Crossland. A son Nels Christenson, of Union, Mrs. J. A. Zerwas, of Little Falls, Minn., a daughter, Mrs. Fred James, of Missouri, and the former editor of the Scout, Chris Christenson, now in North Dakota, are remaining relatives.
