Raymond L. Bowman, age 55, resident of Leroy, died this morning at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids following an extended illness.
He was born April 24, 1909 to Rube and Cora Bowman and was married December 19, 1931 to Mabel Dosenberry. Surviving are his wife, Mabel, Leroy; two sons, Roger, Leroy, and Richard, Grand Rapids; two brothers, Sylvester and Warren, both of Leroy; and five sisters, Mrs. Vera Engstrom, Howell, Mrs. Hubert Johnson, Mrs. Leonard Johnson and Mrs. Kenneth Davis, all of Leroy and Mrs. William Pierce, Detroit.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City, Rev. Donald Walker officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Leroy.
