From 1890-1903, the Dedham Historical Society in Dedham Massachusetts printed a quarterly pamphlet for it’s historical society called the “Dedham Historical Register.” In this pamphlet a variety of genealogical data was published on families of Dedham and the villages emanating from the early residents of Dedham, such as Dorchester, Franklin, Medfield, Medway, Needham, and Sharon, etc. I imagine the choice of what to include relied greatly on the contributions of material available to the society, and the interests of its members.

These 56 quarterly publications were bound together as bi-annual editions and later printed as 14 distinct volumes. The society chose to spread out large articles over several different quarterlies, spreading the article often into additional years volumes.

Our index is setup in alphabetical order for each volume. Because individual articles may be spread out into several volumes, you should check each volume for the specific article. In order to read the a particular volume click on the image to the right of each listing.
