In this city December 14, Rachel Green, aged 79 years.
Mrs. Green was born in Kentucky in 1812 and moved to Missouri in 1831 where a year later she married the husband she nowleaves to mourn her loss.
She moved with her husband to Oregon in 1863 where she has resided continuously up to the time of her death a respected and estimable lady.
She was the mother of 11 children, six of whom, with their families are left to mourn her death.
She was one of the pioneers of Eastern Oregon. The funeral took place yesterday.
