Old Ebenezer Church, Effingham County GA – 1768 Marriages

Silvanus Bird and Dinah Stafford, all on Ogeechee River, were joined in marriage March 4, 1768.

John Ford and Mary More.

James Nolliboy and Catharine Gaskin, all in St. Matthew Parish, were joined in marriage March 7, 1768.

John George Rentz and Hannah Margaret Kalcher were joined in marriage March 8, 1768. John 15:14.

Matthew Weinkauf and Christine Mackh were joined in marriage April 12, 1768. Text, Psalm 59:16, 17.

John Stafford and Susanne Evans were lawfully married on the 26th day of May, 1768. They are living in the province of South Carolina.

John Nevil and Francis Nicson were lawfully married on the 13th day of October, 1768.

Solomon Perthero and Elizabeth Wiles were both lawfully married on the 25th day of October, 1768, in the presence of the bride’s father and other people.

John Paul Miller and Elizabeth Maurer were joined in marriage Nov. 2, 1768.

John Heinle was united in marriage with the widow Mary Barbara Schneider, Nov. 22, 1768. The wedding text was Psalm 73:23, 24.

Nathan Taylor and Susannah Glazon were both lawfully married on the 8th day of December, 1768.

So far the number has been reported.

William Obrian and Mary Charnock were both lawfully married to each other on the 15th day of Dec., 1768.
