Weber, Richard R. “Dick” – Obituary

Richard R. “Dick” Weber, 77, a former Baker City resident, died Sept. 30, 2007, at his home in La Grande.
At his request, there will be no funeral.

Dick was born on Dec. 10, 1929, at Wellston, Okla., to Otto P. and Jewel B. Cunningham Weber. He and his sister, Chrissy, later moved with their mom to Ventura, Calif., where they were raised. Dick later joined the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at Tillamook where he met Dorothy Wehinger, who became his wife of 26 years and lifelong friend for an additional 29 years.

Survivors include Dorothy Weber and their four children, Sandra Weber McGinn, Tana Weber Harlan, Rob Weber and Lori Weber Hines; nine grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice through Coles Funeral Home, 1950 Place St., Baker City, OR 97814.
