This database is a history of the city of St. Paul, Minnesota, and the county in which it lies--Ramsey County. The purpose of this work was to preserve the events and individuals who settled the area and made up its early history. Minute detail was given to the earliest years of this area's history, the pre-territorial period, and up to the organization of the city of St. Paul. The majority of this work covers 1839-1875.
