About Weber County, Utah Probate Court Civil and Criminal Case Registers of Actions, 1868-1887

Registers of actions for civil and criminal cases consist of the individual documents generated from each case attended to by the Probate Court. This database is an index to two volumes that record the filing of these documents, which were created between 1868 and 1887. Entries in these volumes list the names of the parties, names of counsel, case type, dates on which documents were filed, and a description of each document. This index to these volumes, which was created by and obtained from the Utah State Archives, provides the name of the party involved in the case, whether they were a plaintiff or defendant, case type, case number, the name of the opposing party, filing date of the document, and volume and page number on which the recorded filing information is found. Microfilmed copies of the original records are available for research at the Archives as part of Series 83901.
