This database is an index to the records of the Box Elder, Utah Mining District that contain quit claim agreements and deeds dating from 1890 to 1892. Mining records were often kept in order to keep track of and to register mining claims and operations. The quit claim agreements and deeds provide information such as grantor, grantee, and legal description for transfer of mine ownership. This index to these records, which was created by and obtained from the Utah State Archives, provides the name of the grantee or grantor, mine name, date the record was made, and the page number on which the record can be found.
