Registers of actions for divorces individually list documents filed in divorce cases with the probate court. Information recorded in the registers includes the case number, the names of the parties, the names of the attorneys representing the parties, and the dates on which case documents were filed. This database is an index to the registers of 1877 and 1880 in Davis County, Utah. Entries in 1877 begin in February and extend through December. In 1880 entries begin in September. The index to these records provides the names of the parties involved in the case, the case number, and the date in which the case was filed. Case files filed before February and after December 1877 do exist, although they are not included in this database. This index was obtained from the Utah State Archives and is part of Series 4731 of their collection.
