This database is an index to mining records from Henry Mining District in Sevier County, Utah from 1883-1896. Mining records were kept primarily to monitor and register mining claims and operations. Up until 1897, each mining district was allowed to provide its own district recorder. In 1897, the responsibility of maintaining the mining records was handed over to the county recorder.
