This database contains birth certificates for Oconee County, Georgia. Birth certificates weren't required in Georgia until 1919, but the collection contains many delayed birth certificates recording births as far back as 1875, only three years after the county was created. Delayed birth certificates were applied for when proof of birth was needed for things such as pension benefits.

There are no birth certificates for 1937 or for years after 2008.
