1872. His death cert is of St. Louis, MO, address: Brooks Point. Henry and his
son, Charles, both worked and died on the steamer Oceanus on the Mississippi
River. In the Petersburg Index (Petersburg, Virginia) Apr 13 1872, p2:
Cairo, IL: "At four this morning the steamer Oceanes, from Red River to St. Louis, when near Brooke's Point, thirty miles above Cairo, exploded her boiler, blowing her upper works almost entirely away, immediately after which the wreck took fire and burned to the waters edge. ... Chas. Worsham, second clerk, Jules Dempewolf, steward, and Charley Murray, cabin boy, were found dead floating on the river, all with life preservers on, and were brought here by the steamer Shrave. It is supposed that the were chilled to death. ..."
The 4/20/1872 Defiance Democrat (Defiance, Ohio) mentions Henry:
"Henry Walsham, first clerk, was not seen after the explosion. He was expected to go through Cairo by rail, but was not seen on the boat after leaving here."

Edward wrote his will 10 Sep 1846 from John Humphreys, 2004:"I Edward Travis of the County of Henry & State of Tennessee do make ordain, publish and declare my last will and testament as follows towit: It is my will and desire that my three negroes Marilla a girl, Randle a boy and Dick a boy the children of Lucy, shall remain in the possession of Isham G. Harris, my executor, hereinafter named, until the youngest of them shall arrive at the age of eighteen years, at which time my said executor shall, if it is their desire to do so, remove the said Marilla, Randle and Dick to some of the free States of the United States, and shall expend the sum of Five hundred dollars in purchasing them a home and the necessities of life, and liberate and settle them there, and in the case of said Marilla, Randle & Dick, or either of them, should not desire to remove then and in that case they shall still remain in the possession of the said Isham G. Harris and should either one of them choose to remove, it shall be the duty of the said Isham G. Harris to remove and settle such one, or more, and appropriate and expend a proportionate part of the said sum of five hundred dollars in purchasing that one or more a home and the necessary provisions to enable them to live until he, she and they shall be able to procure a livelihood, and in case they or either of them should not at the time mentioned above elect to remove, and should at any time thereafter during their lives elect to go, it shall be the duty of the said Isham G. Harris to remove them, or either of them, and settle and furnish as above directed, but at no time shall the said Isham G. Harris be bound to expend more than the said sum of five hundred dollars in purchasing a home & provisions for them or a proportionate part thereof in case one or more but not all should elect to go and in the meantime, during the time they shall remain in the possession of the said Harris, he shall treat them in the same way he treats his own slaves, and they shall serve in the same manner as though they were his own property, and for and in consideration of the trouble and expense said Isham G. Harris shall be at in raising the said Marilla, Randle and Dick, and as full compensation for the said sum of five hundred dollars which he is hereby required to expend for them, I give and bequeath to him the said Isham G. Harris, his heirs and assigns forever two negro slaves towit: Lucy (the mother) and Jessie, the brother of the said Marilla, Randle & Dick, and in case of said Marilla, Randle and Dick or either of them should never elect to remove to a free State then and in that case they, that is such as shall elect to remain, shall remain to the said Isham G. Harris and his heirs forever.
I give and bequeath to my daughter, Martha M. Harris, wife of Isham G. Harris, the following slaves towit: Licia and her three children, Nat, Adaline and Wiley, and any increase which they may have hereafter this date, to her and her heirs forever.
I give and bequeath to my son, Edward L. Travis, and the negro man named Jim (known as Jim Bright) to him the said Edward, and his heirs and assigns forever.
I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth C. Glisson, wife of William W. Glisson, the following slaves, towit: Sam and Leanna to her the said Elizabeth and her heirs forever.
I give and bequeath to Robert L. Travis, his heirs and assigns forever the following slaves towit: Yellow Stephen, Susan his wife & old Davy.
I give and bequeath to my son Joseph H. Travis, his heirs and assigns forever, the following slaves towit: Jim (known as little Jim), Mariah & her child Betsey, and old Harmon.
I give and bequeath to my son, Benjamin W. Travis & his heirs forever, the following slaves to wit: Nathan, Isaac & Matilda.
I give and bequeath to my daughter, Sarah M. Warren wife of Dr. Westley Warren the following slaves, towit: Charlotte and her two children, Mary and Green, to her the said Sarah M. and her heirs forever.
I give and bequeath to my son, William E. Travis & his heirs forever the following slaves, to wit: Stephen (known as big Stephen) Judy and Peter. Also Washington's writings in 12 volumes.
I give and bequeath to my son James L. Travis and his heirs forever, the following slaves, to wit: Anthony, Davy (known as little Davy) and Isaac (known as little Isaac) Also one bed & furniture the Sporting Magazine in 13 volumes, a Portrait Gallery in 4 volumes.
I give and bequeath to my son Ludson W. Travis and his heirs forever, the following slaves, towit: Tazewell and Fanny. Also two hundred dollars in cash and one bed and furniture.
I give and bequeath to my grandson John Wesley Crutchfield, two hundred dollars to be paid by my Executor as soon as that amt. shall be collected by him to the guardian of said John Wesley Crutchfield, but to be held by him in trust and loaned out at interest until the said John W. shall arrive at the age of twenty- one years or marries, when it with all the interest thereon shall be by him paid over to the said John W. Crutchfield, but in case the said John W. should die before he arrives at the age of twenty- one years or marries, the said trustee shall divide the said sum amongst my children as the residue of my property is hereinafter directed to be divided.
Whereas I have heretofore given to the father of my two grandchildren, James and Thomas McMeans, his full share of my estate I have nothing now to give them, but leave them to and desire them to be kindly treated by their uncles and would recommend that they should be bound to learn some good trade.
It is further my will and desire that my real Estate shall be sold upon a credit of one and two years, and my personal property remaining after the foregoing bequests upon the usual credit of twelve months, and in case an opportunity should offer and my executor should deem it best so to do, he is hereby fully authorized and empowered to sell my real estate or blooded stock at a private sale, and in case it is not privately sold he shall sell the same at public sale and sign, seal, execute and deliver deeds of conveyance or bills of sale for the same, and after the payment of all my just debts the residue of my estate shall be equally divided between the following of my children towit: Elizabeth C., Robert L., Joseph H., Benjamin W., Sarah M., Martha M., William E. , James L., and Ludson W. leaving out my eldest son Edward L. and the representatives of my daughter Margaret McMeans, as they have received more heretofore than the others.
It is further my will and desire that my executor shall pay, and it is hereby expressly charged upon my estate, a debt contracted by my son William E. Travis in the purchase of a house from Mr. Kirby.
It is further my will and desire that in case any or either of my children or legatees should be dissatisfied with the manner in which I have distributed my property herein, or from any other cause shall institute any suit or suits for the purpose of setting aside all or any of the provisions of this will, then and in that case the property heretofore bequeathed to such one or ones shall and it is hereby expressly withdrawn, and such property as is herein bequeathed to him or her or them shall be Equally divided among the other residuary legatees as above named, and I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Isham G. Harris of Paris, Tennessee Executor of this my last Will and testament, and I do hereby further appoint the said Isham G. Harris guardian of my son Ludson W. Travis.

Note: 2.1.2.2.1. Richard Worsham b 28 Mar 1745 Chesterfield Co., VA. It is believed that this Richard Worsham has been incorrectly identified and should be the s/o Peter Worsham & Elizabeth Talbot (page 466) and b in 1755 instead of 1745. The Richard Worsham b abt 1755 Chesterfield Co., VA s/o Peter Worsham & Elizabeth Talbot (page 468) should be the s/o Joseph Worsham & Mary Watkins on page 465. The Richard Worsham on page 468 who m. Mary Wingfield had a daughter Martha Herndon Worsham. It is believed that this daughter was named after Mary Watkin's mother who was named Martha Herndon. (Do not know where the birth date of 28 Mar 1745 came from but both Richards were close to the same age) It is also believed some of the notes for these two Richards have been mixed up. In order to clear up the mix up, we have added the following:

2.1.2.2.2. Richard Worsham b. 1755 Chesterfield Co., VA s/o Joseph Worsham & Mary Watkins should change order of birth with his sister, Martha. When Benjamin Breedlove was appointed guardian of the children of Joseph Worsham, they were in this order: Martha, Richard & Joseph Worsham. (Martha, Richard & Joseph would have been under the age of 14 to have a guardian appointed for them; therefore, their approximate birth dates would be: Martha b. abt 1753, Richard b. 1755 & Joseph b. abt 1757. Richard's mother, Mary m. 2nd) Benjamin Breedlove 20 Feb 1762 in Lunenburg Co., VA. A Watkins researcher has stated that Richard Worsham was the s/o John Worsham & Sophia Watkins. Sophia Watkins being b 1735 & d 1780 Greene Co., GA d/o William Watkins & Martha Herndon. Records of Briery Church of Charlotte Co., VA show Mary died 1787. (Willette Smith, 2001) From the Chesterfield Co. & Charlotte Co., records, there is proof that Richard's parents were Joseph Worsham & Mary Watkins. William Watkins made his will 2 Apr 1781 in Charlotte Co., VA & named his son- in- law Benjamin Breedlove and left to his, grandson, Richard Worsham (if he lives to return from the army) one Negro boy named Cuff. Richard Worsham served in the Revolutionary War. He was appointed an Ensign by County Court of Charlotte Co. on 20 Nov 1776; 2nd Lieut 13 Nov 1777, reg. Designated as 10th Virginia Regiment 14 Sep 1778; 1st Lieut 12 Mar 1779; taken prisoner at Charleston 12 May 1780; trans to 1st Virginia Regiment 12 Feb 1781, served to close of war; died 17 Feb 1826. Rewarded 3,370 acres. Richard m. Mary Wingfield abt 1781. She was b abt 1759 d/o Thomas Wingfield & Elizabeth Terrell. (Most of the notes & information on pages 469-473 belong to this Richard Worsham with the exception of a note on page 469 referring to Bounty Land Warrant #2380-200) On 1 Oct 1787 Benjamin Watkins made oath that Richard Worsham is the eldest brother & heir-at-law of Joseph Worsham who died a soldier in the Army (Joanne Lovelace Nance, Eighteenth Century Charlotte County Children, p23) In 1820, Richard stated he was aged 65 (or b. 1755) & was living in Washington, Wilkes Co., GA. 2.1.2.4.2. Richard Worsham b abt 1757 Chesterfield Co., VA s/o Peter Worsham & Elizabeth Talbot. He & his brother, William are mentioned in the will of his grandfather, William Talbott dated 16 Jan 1760 as sons of Peter Worsham. His father, Peter Worsham died 3 Nov 1769 leaving no will and Peter Talbott was appointed guardian for orphans: William & Richard Worsham. On 3 Jan 1772, Richard Worsham chooses Haley Talbott as his guardian. (Richard would have been at least 14 years of age to chose his own guardian). His brother, William Worsham enlisted in the Rev. War before 1777 and received a mortal wound in Georgia during a conflict. Before he died, he directed that his estate (except his clothes) go to his brother, Richard, if he returned from sea. Bounty Land Warrant #2380-200 was issued on 19 Jun 1795 to Richard Worsham, administrator of William Worsham's estate...also recorded as BLW #2655.

Bush and Al Gore, we find an interesting article in Wilkes Co, GA Scrapbook, Vol A, Standard, 1970, p. 69, titled "Wilkes patriotism at high point in 1824." The information was obtained from an old newspaper clipping owned by Tommy Thorton, Jr. describing an 1824 heated Presidential argument outside the courthouse. The citizens were proud of their court house with a bell from Connecticut that was used to summon people to market, political rallies, fires, and toll curfew. "Feeling had run high during the first months of the Presidential race of 1824. Washington-Wilkes people favored their own William H. Crawford. When a stroke of paralysis rendered Crawford unfit to continue the race for President, our citizens turned to Andrew Jackson and loudly opposed the dour John Quincy Adams." "But there was one Adams man in the town named David Mayo. Going around the streets he proclaimed that if Adams should be elected by the House of Representatives, he would personally ring the court house bell to celebrate this happy event. The supporters of Jackson swore that he wouldn't. When news finally came down that Adams had, indeed, been declared President, Mayo ran shouting to ring the town bell. The Jackson men had cut the bell rope and stood taunting Mayo." "But I will ring that bell for Adams!" Mayo declared and set out to climb the cupola. ... Mayo exultantly hit the bell a mighty blow with his hammer and rang it. He also cracked it a bit and the people became very angry." "Now Mayo announced to the crowd below that he would plant a flag on the weather vane in honor of President John Quincy Adams. The crowd watched while he inched his way up the cupola and set the flag atop. He scarcely moved away when Dick Worsham raised his rifle and shot the flag down. Angrily, David Mayo said that he would go up again and put the flag back up." "If you do, "Dick Worsham said, "I will try my rifle on you instead of the flagpole and you know I never miss." The flag was not flown in Washington for President Adams."

BARRET & Company for five years, and in 1888 embarked in business for himself as an exporter of tobacco. was born in California September 24, 1881, and spent the greater part of his
childhood in Henderson, Ky., where his parents lived. He received his
academic education at the University of he South, Sewanee, Tenn., and his
education for his life work at the Virginia Theological Seminary at Alexandria,
Va. He was ordained at his home in Henderson by Bishop Woodcock and was
immediately put into service at Shelbyville, Ky. From there, he was called
to Amarilla (sic) Tex. and from there to St. David's church in Austin, Tex.,
from which work he was called to the Church of the Good Shepherd at
Jacksonville, where he came about the middle of August , 1916, and where he has
since remained. Upon his arrival the task of building a new church with
all the vigor and earnestness which he possessed, since the old church had been
burned. At the time of his death, he left behind him the complete
seven-day-a-week institution which is now located on Stockton street, consisting
of a handsome church, adjoining which is a gymnasium and the finest swimming
pool in the South, which plant was used by him in the teaching of the broad,
wholesome religion in which he believed. He made the youth of his church
learn to play a wholesome atmosphere and made them happy in their
religion. He preaches little dogma. His efforts were directed rather
toward the teaching of the golden rule and universal love and the daily practice
of service.

Ludson Worsham, physician, is the second living son of E. W. and Miriam J. Worsham, and was born in Henderson County on the nineteenth day of December, 1854. At an early age Ludson Worsham manifested a fondness for books. He was educated in various private schools, and by private tutors, finally graduating with high honors from the "Henderson High School." He studied medicine, for which he exhibited a great fondness, and graduated in the year 1879, at the Medical University, New York City. He accompanied his father during the month of August, 1873, to San Francisco, California, and became a citizen of the "Golden City." He remained in San Francisco several years, and then visited New York for the purpose of completing his medical education, which he did as before stated in 1879. Having graduated, he returned to San Francisco and immediately engaged in the practice of his profession in that city until 1882. His ability was so marked, his strength of character so well settled, commercial eyes were soon directed toward him,, and in a short while he was induced by the "Alaska Commercial Company" to accept the position of Medical Purveyor for that district, Unalaska, a town situated upon the east coast of Unalaska Island, the largest and most extreme eastern of the Aleutian Islands, was designated headquarters. He accepted the position, and during his stay at that place, traveled among the Aleutian Islands off the Coast of Alaska. In 1884, much to the regret of the Alaska Commercial Company, Dr. Worsham tendered his resignation. For nearly two years he had performed his duties nobly and faithfully, his gentle kindness in sickness and in health, had won him warm friends; there fore, it is not to be wondered, that the Alaska Company reluctantly accepted his resignation, but, there was a jewel in his far off native home, dearer to his noble love than all the glittering wealth above or underneath the earth of Alaska. Love knows no limit; for six and one-half long years his heart had been tangled in a golden smile; and, why not, beauty hath made our greatest manhood weak; other Doctors than he have gone tilting with a lance of light, in lists of argument, and yet have knelt and sighed most plethoric sighs; stern hearts close barred against a wanton world, have had their gates burst open by a kiss. There was one, who might have topped all men, who bartered joyously for one single smile, an empired planet with its load of crowns, and thought himself rich. With such sweet arguments string him in the face, he yet "loved and languished after the most orthodox model." Hope, "Heaven’s own gift to struggling mortals," cheered him upward and onward, and soon he was enroute [sic] to Henderson. In coming, the Doctor visited Petropaulovsk, in the southern part of Western Siberia, and, after a long, tedious and disagreeable voyage, landed safe at his native town. A few months subsequent to his arrival, an event occurred which explains what we have been hinting at. On the seventeenth day of December,1884, Dr. Ludson Worsham and Miss Mary L. Hodge, an accomplished lady, a true and devoted lover in maidenhood, an affectionate and self-denying wife and mother, and a model christian, were joined together in the holy estate of matrimony at Henderson, Rev. Dr. D. O. Davies, of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Dr. Worsham, immediately after his marriage, formed a medical partnership with his wife’s father, Dr. Joseph Anthony Hodge, and for several months practiced his chosen profession in Henderson, but as time rolled on, he believed Evansville to be a better vineyard for the medical laborer, so on the tenth day of August, 1885, he removed to that city, and is yet domiciled there, doing, as the writer learns, a lucrative practice. Dr. Hodge, the father of Mrs. Worsham, is well known to the profession throughout Kentucky. He was at one time President of the Kentucky State Board of Health, and as a physician is recognized and acknowledged one of the best in the State. Dr. and Mrs. Worsham have had born unto them two children, both boys, each of whom being most appropriately named. The eldest is named for his maternal grandfather, Anthony Hodge, the youngest for his paternal grandfather, Elijah William. Dr. Worsham was raised in the Baptist Church faith, but at this writing has not confessed the faith handed down, by attaching himself to any church, through membership. Mrs. Worsham is a devoted Presbyterian, sincere in all she does or says. Dr. Worsham is a charter member of St. George Lodge, Knights of Pythias at Evansville.

Capt. Elijah W. Worsham, Machine Gun Company, 326th Infantry, 82nd Division,
December 14, 1886 - September 29, 1918
Manifesting the same optimism and valor, which he learned on the athletic field while still a school boy, Captain Elijah Worsham met the supreme crisis of his life in a spirit most becoming to a soldier of democracy.
He was born December 14, 1886. He went through Campbell School. After graduating from the high school in 1904, he continued his education in Purdue University. In 1910 he went to Alaska on a business trip, and later went to Seattle, Wash., where he was a member of the brokerage firm of Worsham & Vivian. His congenial personality made him a leader. He was captain of the football team when he was in Purdue. He was president of the northwest province of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at Seattle. He was also active in the Boat Club and Swimming Club of that city.
Captain Worsham received valuable training for the great war on the Mexican border in 1912, where he was First Lieutenant of a machine gun company. He enlisted for the world war in April, 1917, and received his training at the American Lake, Washington, Camp Lewis. In June, 1917, he was made First Lieutenant of a machine gun company.
In a letter from Captain Ray W. Rays, M.G. Co. 326th Infantry, sent from Oostletern, Belgium, to W. R. Heilman, of this city, a graphic description is given of the battle in which Captain Worsham received his fatal wound. The letter also shows the admiration and love of officers and men for their brave Captain. The letter follows:
"Oostletern, Belgium.
"Mr. W. R. Heilman,
"Evansville, Ind.
"Dear Sir: Your letter to the commanding officer, 326th Infantry,
concerning Captain Worsham, has been referred to me.
"While Captain Worsham was in command of the machine gun company, I was one of his officers. Since his death I have had the honor of commanding his company, and it is his company, known universally as Captain Worsham's company, and not the machine gun company. Inspired by his ideals and teaching, I am trying to run the company as he did, but no one can take his place.
"We first went over the top at Rendevous de Chasse and the first day advanced about ten kilometers. We met with stiff resistance at Ejenonville the next morning, and it was largely due to the Captain's courage, tactics and machine gun company that our division held out, while divisions on our flank were forced back.
"During the two days of fierce fighting we advanced some eight kilometers, until, on the 29th, we were held up. A small town, by the name Gesnes, seemed to be the point of resistance, and about 3 o'clock in the afternoon of September 29 the battalion to which we were attached was ordered to take the town. The magnificent manner in which it was charged and taken will never be forgotten by the surviving participants. Led by our Captain, we followed the assault wave, and, under his direction, mounted our guns on a ridge commanding the town, where we could use direct fire over the heads of our own troops.
"We had some wonderful targets, but were subject to direct observed artillery fire, front and flank, the flank organizations having
failed to gain their objective.
"After getting my guns in action, I found the Captain firing a machine gun, the crew of which had become casualties. Under the cover of the gun he was firing and three others from my platoon, I removed the remainder of the guns forward to escape the heavy enemy barrage.
"Then I rejoined the Captain. Shortly he gave the order to cease firing, our troops having advanced so far that it was dangerous to continue to fire over their heads.
"We continued to observe, waiting for dusk to advance. I left the Captain to give orders to one of my gun crews. When I found him a few moments later he was dead, shot with a rifle bullet. He had started forward, field glass in one hand, rifle with fixed bayonet in the other.
"We advanced with leaden hearts and heavy feet to help reorganize
and consolidate the line for the night, because that is what he would have had us do. It was two or three days before the body was recovered and laid to rest in a grassy meadow in the Forest of Argonne, beside that of one of his Lieutenants, who gave his life the same day.
"He was your dear friend, you say. To us he was more-peerless
leader, boon companion, comrade, instructor and friend. We mourn his loss in a way that words cannot express. His men and officers loved him as he in his whole-hearted way loved them. The fateful German bullet cost the army a valiant leader and officer, a true soldier in every sense; robbed the government of a valuable citizen, and deprived all who were privileged to know him in the future society of a beloved friend and always cheerful companion.
"Pardon me, sir, for so much detail about an action that I was in, but I loved and admired the 'Old Skipper,' as he will always be to us, that it is a relief to talk to one who, likewise, knew and loved him. I dream of him by night and think of him by day, and always, in my plans for his company, I wonder if he would approve of my actions were he here. Most of my military education, all my machine gun experience, was received from him, and perhaps his invisible hand is still guiding me in my effort to take his company home as he would have taken it.
Even your high regard for Lige Worsham, the citizen, would have been increased had you known the Captain E. W. Worsham that I knew and served under. He understood men and by his own high ideals brought out the best in them. I truly sympathize with you in the loss of a friend,

Wayne Co, Michigan census. However, by 1932 they were back in Indianapolis. Hulda was a

He enjoyed golf and fishing, and he ran the income-tax service for the AARP at the Deltona Regional Library. Co., VA d/o Ludson Worsham & Miss Green. She never married. She is in
the 1850 Distrtict 1, Henry Co., TN census, p 249 age 73 b VA. Living with her
is John W. Crutchfield age 8 b TN. Her will was dated 23 Sep 1852 (Henry Co., TN
Will Book G p 604) which is as follows:
I, Sarah Worsham of the County of Henry & state of Tennessee do make and publish and declare my last will and Testament as follows viz.
I give and bequeath to John W. Crutchfield (the son of John Crutchfield & Mary his wife) three slaves Sucky, Floyd and Gilley and one bed & bed stead and good furniture with two pair of sheets for the same to him and his children if he shall have any, and in case he die before he arrives at full ageand without a child or children then and in that case the said slaves shall revert to te residuary legatees hereafter mentioned.
It is further my will and desire that my executors shall retain possession of my slave Lucretia (commonly known by the name of Critty) for twelve months after my decease and that during said term of twelve months they shall retain a sufficient amount of my estate in their hands to provide for her wants and expenses and that during said term of twelve months my said executors shall permit the said Critty to select such person as she choose to live with, and at the end of said twelve months my said executors are hereby authorized and required to make a deed or bill of sale for said Critty to such person as she shall select upon condition that said person shall agree and bind themselves to retain her as house maid only and not put her to any hard service and that my executors secure her in such way that she cannot be sold or taken from such person as she shall select to live with but that they shall desire the benefit of her service.
I give and bequeath to John W. Crutchfield all the money and notes in my possession to be expended in the education of said John W. W.
I further give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my property of whatsoever kind or nature the same may be to be equally divided between Sarah M. Warren wife of Dr. W. Warren, Martha M. Harris (wife of Isham G. Harris, William C. C. Travis, James L. Travis, Ludson W. Travis and John W. W. Crutchfield share and share alike that part falling to the said Sarah M. Warren in said wisdom to be held by my executors in trust for the said Sarah M. Warren during her natural life and at the death to be directed to her children. In case she having no child or children or the issue of such then the property falling to her share shall be equally divided between the other residuary legatees above mentioned and the part falling to the same John W. W. Crutchfield. In case he die before the age of twenty one years without a child or children then and in that case Sarah's share shall be equally divided between the other residuary legatees. I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Isham G. Harris and William C. Travis Executors of this my last will and testament in testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal the twenty third day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred fifty two. /s/ Sarah Worsham with X as her mark.
