1. John Worsham b abt 1805 of Talbot Co., GA md Margaret abt 1825 of Harris Co., GA. (Family Records of Anne W. Nelson, 1999) In the 11 Aug 1836 Macon, GA newspaper clipping (Messenger), v 2: "On the 3rd instant, at the house of Mr. John Worsham, near Thomaston, (Upson Co, GA) after a short confinement, Mr. David Melton, of Putnam Co." In the 11 Jul 1858 Messenger was: "David Melton of Putnam Co, wagon maker in the public service, (died) at the home of John Worsham 3 Aug 1836 near Thomaston (Upson Co), GA."
John is in the 1840 Harris Co., GA, p 255 with Males: 1 5-10, 1 30-40; Females: 2 under 5, 2 5-10, 1 30-40 & 1 slave. Margaret is in the 1850 Harris Co., GA census, p 72 age 46 b GA. Margaret Worsham, age 55 GA, in the 1860 Smith Co, MS census living with W. G. Smith age 26. Anne W. Nelson, 1999, wrote according to an early Bible record Cordelia Brandon Worsham, is the daughter of John and Margaret Worsham. Anne Webb Nelson, 2001, discovered some papers written sometime after 1920 possibly by her great uncle Hugh Webb, that appear to be copied from a Bible Record. John Worsham's death was 2 Sep 1847.

Anne Webb Nelson, 2001, discovered some papers written sometime after 1920 possibly by her great uncle Hugh Webb, that appear to be copied from a Bible Record. It reads "Sarah A. J. Switzer Died 06/20/51 don't know whose child she is or where buried." Anne believes Sarah A. J. Worsham Switzer's second name was Angelina, since Cordelia named her third daughter Sarah Angelina. Sarah Angelina and Georgiann Hazeltine are both buried in the Double Churches Cemetery in Muscogee, Co, GA.
1.2. Cordelia Brandon Worsham b abt 1829 of Harris Co., GA md William Henry Webb 5 Jan 1849 Harris Co., GA. William b abt 1829 GA. Anne W. Nelson, 1999, wrote that an early Bible record shows Cordelia Brandon Worsham as the daughter of John and Margaret Worsham. In 1850 Cordelia, age 18, and William H. Webb, age 21, are in Harris Co., GA in the Valley Plains District, p 143 living next to her mother, Margaret. In 1860, they were enumerated in Muscogee Co., GA., p 312, William H. age 26 & Cordelia age 26. William H. Webb joined one of the Muscogee Units, but was "discharged by substitution." In 1870, the couple is in Newberry Co., SC, p 660 as W. H. Webb age 40 and Cordelia age 37. In 1880, they are in Sherman, Grayson Co., TX with sons Wm. B age 10, & Thomas S. age 8 b SC and daughter Margaret Harrington & son in law Hugh Harrington, p 46.

Susan was age 23 MS MS MS and she had a son from a previous marriage named W. H. Phipps age 3 b MS. He is living alone in the 1900 Sunflower Co, MS census as William H. Worsham age not recorded b MS GA MS widow cattle buyer (ED52, p241a) According to Skeets Wadsworth, 2000, after Fannie's death, James Worsham packed up a wagon and moved to Smith Co. & Fannie, being oldest child, did housekeeping and care for Rose and Kate until he married again. James md. 2nd) Martha E. Jeffcoat abt. 1912 in Jones, MS. She was b. abt. 1881 of Jones, MS. "a woman much younger than him and closer to his children's' age." In 1930 he was a 70 year old farmer living in Jones Co, MS. James died 1936 Jones Co, MS. In 1930, Rose and John lived in Jones Co, MS where he was a farmer.
