Joe Yocom, aged 22, passed away [October 6, 1910] yesterday morning in Okanogan after a six weeks’ siege of typhoid fever.
The deceased is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron [Myam] Yocom of the Colockom and was a brother of Mrs. Edward Dennis.
His father, mother, and sister, Mrs. Moore, of Portland, were with him when the end came and the remains were brought down the river today for interment. The deceased was well known in this valley and has a host of friends to regret his loss.
