Page, Mary Ann Wooding – Obituary

Mary Ann Page, 85, died Thursday [October 26, 1978] at a local nursing home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1893 at Getchell, Wash. She and Alfred O. Page were married in Seattle on September 24, 1912. They came to the Ellensburg area in 1919 and farmed on Route 3. Following the death of Mr. Page in April, 1964, she moved to town and made her home at 312 North Anderson until entering the nursing home. She was a member of Altrua Rebekah Lodge, Women of the Moose, Country Mothers’ Club and Grange.

Survivors include three sons, Edwin Page, of Ellensburg, Myron Page, of Forks, and Robert Page, of Federal Way; one daughter, Mrs. M. L. (Viola) Christian, Ellensburg; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Evenson Chapel. The Rev. Bill Dietz will officiate and burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to charity of donor’s choice.
