5) Thomas Dillard Johnston; m. Miss Bobo of Spartanburg, S.C. and has two children surviving him, Leila May and Eugene. His wife now dead did live in Asheville, N.C. he left quite a large estate, and was for years a member of Congress from the Asheville District.
6) Ella Johnston; m. Jack Campbell. Dead. She was his first wife and Margaret Hilliard is his second.
7) Annie Johnston; m. William T. Weaver. one child-Dorothea-living in Asheville.

1) Eliza Gudger; m. W.W. Rollins of Asheville, and they have the following children, towit: (a) Rev. Wallace E. Rollins (b) Thomas Scott Rollins, who married Ida daughter of Jeter T. Pritchett, U.S. Senator from the State of N.C. (c) Emma Rollins who married Prof. R.J. Tighe-one child (d) Carrie Rollins who married Dr. Joseph Sevier (e)Kittie (f)Myrtle (g)Sadie.
2) Bernard-never married
3) Hezekiah Gudger; m. Jennie Smith, and by her had the following children, towit: (a)Frances (b) Ada who married Phillip Cooke (c) Mary (d) Emma
4) Hester Gudger; m. Dr. J. B. Weaver-one son-Dr. William Jackson Weaver.
5) James Madison Gudger; m. Kate Hawkins, and has three children, towit: Emmet, Katherine and Hubert. He is State Senator from the Asheville District---Later: he is not Congressman from the same District

and lives in Waynesville, N.C.

4) Marietta Welch; m. Dr. Way of Waynesville, and have two children, towit: Hildah and Jack

1) Mary Elizabeth Johnson; m. Oscar Castrell-three children-all dead.
2) Wm. Robert Johnson; m. 1st, Jessie Jackson; 2nd Amanda Copeland. He has the following children, towit: (a) Robert Avery Johnson and Alfred Sloan Johnson by his 1st wife (b) Mattie Lucile, Jessie Emma, Copeland and Nellie Cordele Johnson by his 2nd wife
3) John Randolph Johnson; m. Susan K. Sloan, and had three children, towit: (a) Bertie, who married Rondodough, drowned at Galveston (b) Murray
4) Marrie Johnson; m. Benjamin Sloan- four children-Hugh, Addie, Elizabeth and Margarette.
