expression thereof, and obligating each be at an equal expense thereafter, a copy of which article of agreement subscribed and sealed by each of said parties, your Orator here exhibits, marked "A:, and prays that the same may be made part of his Bill.
        Your Orator further state that in pursuance to said purchase, which was alone made in the name of said Andrew, but for the benefit of Nathaniel Taylor and your Orator as well as said Greer, he, said Andrew Greer, proceeded to the identification of said lands, but on finding that they were not susceptible of identity, he procured the necessary evidence from which to enable the Commissioners to Grant Warrants for said lands; but before he had procured any Warrants or Certificates to issue, he, said Andrew, departed this life, leaving the following named heirs and representatives, towit: Yance Greer, Andrew Greer, Thomas Greer, Talbot, who inter-married with Ruth Greer, and Willie Barrow, who inter-married with Margerry Greer, and Nathaniel Blackmoon, who inter-married with Polly Greer and John Greer; and after the death of the said Andrew, Yance Greer, one of the heirs of the said Andrew, and who was the above representative of the said Andrew, in settling the business of said estate, executed unto Nathaniel Taylor and your Orator, his bond reciting former agreements contained in exhibit "A", and also disclosing that there was upwards of forty one thousand acres contained in the surveys of Nicholason purchased by the ancestor of the said Vance for the mutual benefit of them said, Andrew, Nathaniel and your Orator, and therein bound himself to transfer unto the said Nathaniel and your Orator two thirds of all the Warrants of Certificates that might be obtained from the board of Commissioners for and on account of said purchase before mentioned, after deducting the proportionate part of the expenses from the shares of the said Nathaniel and your Orator. A copy of which bond your Orator also exhibits marked, "B" and prays that the same may be made part of his Bill.

        Your Orator further states, that the said Vance Greer for himself and in behalf of the other heirs of Andrew Greer, did procure from the Commissioners Office sundry certificated Warrants, copies of them of which your Orator here exhibits marked, "C","D" and "E", and prays that they and each of them may be taken and received as part of his Bill. Exhibit "C", to the heirs of Andrew Greer for fourteen hundred and fifty acres, and issued 11th, of September 1807; exhibit "D", to the same for two thousand one hundred and forty acres, dated 21st, July 1807, and exhibit "E", for fifteen hundred acres to the same , on the 11th, September 1807, amounting in the whole to five thousand and ninety acres. The fifteen hundred acre certificate, exhibit "E", was received by your Orator, and that alone, is the whole that he has ever, either directly or indirectly, received for, and on account of said purchase made by Andrew Greer for the joint benefit of himself, Nathaniel Taylor and your Orator.
        Your Orator further states that the certificate for twenty one hundred and forty acres was afterwards ________________________ into a Grant, which emanated from the State of Tennessee, of No. 1040 to the heirs of said Andrew Greer, which tract of land was situated in Lincoln County on Cane Creek, a North Branch of Elk River. Your Orator further states that he know not what quantity of Certificates was procured from said joint purchase over and above those before specified, or how they were divided between the heirs of Andrew Greer and Nathaniel Taylor; but states that after your Orator received the fifteen hundred acre certificate before name, the matter slumbered until the nineteenth of March 1810, when your Orator gave to Nathaniel Taylor a power of
