Wain, Lewis H.; real estate; born, Ravenna, O., Oct. 15, 1863; son of Hugh and Hannah Jennings Wain; educated, Cleveland public schools; married, Cleveland, May 5, 1897, Mary Jenness Merwin; issue, three children; active in the reorganization of the Cleveland Real Estate Board in 1895; pres. of the Board in 1896, and a trustee for five years; operator and broker in real estate and mortgages; pres. The L. H. Wain Co.; director Land Title Abstract Co.; pres. Cleveland Realization Co.; member Sons of American Revolution; has demonstrated the substantial and profitable character of Cleveland and adjacent real estate as an investment by his own well-selected holdings.
