Stevens, J. A.; insurance; born, June 20, 1868, at O'Magh County, Tyrone, Ireland; received liberal education, including a course in science and art dept. of National Education of United Kingdom; engaged in educational work abroad and in the United States for four years; at the age of 22, adopted the life insurance business as a profession; organized The Universal Life Insurance Co., of Cleveland, in 1911; at present hold following positions, sec'y and gen. mgr. The Universal Life Insurance Co.; pres. Pioneer Life Insurance Co. of America; member Athletic Club.
