Einstein, Herman; merchant; born, Germany, May 14, 1855; educated in the public schools of Germany; came to this country in 1873, taking a business college course after his arrival; has been with the same firm since, first as clerk, bookkeeper, salesman; in 1881, became a partner Ullman-Einstein Co.; 1904, the company was incorporated, and he was elected sec'y; in 1912, became pres. and treas. of company; director National Flue Cleaner Co.; treas. Mt. Siani Hospital; member Berai Barith Order, Cleveland Chamber of Commerce; treas. Hebrew Loan Ass'n; member Federation of Jewish Charities; belongs to Excelsior Club and the 55th St. Temple.
