1758 Burials

The following data is extracted from Church Record of Old Ebenezer Church, Effingham County, Georgia.

Anne Mary Fredericka Thilo died Dec. 24, 1757, and was buried the next day. 1758.

Solomon, a son of the deceased John Peter Schubdrein, died Jan. 6, 1758, and received Christian burial at Bethany.

Paul Zittrauer died Feb. 1, 1758 of a breast disease, and was buried on the 2nd. He was 44 years old.

Anne Mary Lackner, .a child of 4 years, died Feb. I, 1758, and was buried on Feb. 2 following.

Israel Maurer died in the night, of Feb. 1, and was buried Feb. 1 at the age of 8 days.

Mary Magdalene Weber died March 3, 1758 in Goshen at the age of 4 weeks.

Anna Catherine Fischer, a native of Langenau, died after a protracted sickness in Bethany, March 15, 1758, and received Christian burial there the next day. Her age was 30 years and 1 month.

Michael Oechsle died March 23, 1758, and was buried on the 24th. His age was about 16 years.

John Adam Biddenbach, son of Matthew Biddenbach, died April 9, 1758, and was buried the next day. He was 2 years old.

Martin Lackner, the elder, died on his plantation at Habercorn, April 13, 1758, and was buried the next day on his plantation.

Christian Gerber died May 1 in the evening, and received Christian burial on the 2nd. He was 8 years old.

Agatha Burgsteiner died May 8, 1758, and on the 9th received Christian burial in Zions Church cemetery.

John Paul died May 20, 1758 in Bethany, and was buried on the 21st in Jerusalem Church cemetery. His age was 16 years.

Mary Hapacher died at the age of 20 years on May 24, 1758, and was buried on the 25th.

Anna Catharine Moser died of a protracted sickness on June 1, 1758, and was buried on the 2nd. Her age was 47 years.

Catharine Remshardt died June 10, 1758 of a protracted disease at the age of 43 years, 5 months and one day.

John Melchier Oechsle died June 11, 1758, and was buried on the 12th at the age of 12 years.

Frederick Godlove Schweiger died June 14, 1758, and was buried the same day.

Valentine Deppe died June 24, 1758 from the fatal bite of a rattlesnake, and was quietly buried on the 25th.

Christian Fetzer, a boy of 17 years, died July 8, 1758 at Kornberger's, ,and was buried on the 9th.

Sibylla Gischwandel died August 5, 1758, and was buried on the 6th. She was 60 years of age less about 3 months.

Jonathan Treutlen died August 29, 1758, and was buried the next day. His age 8 days.

Hannah Remshardt died in the night of October 27, 1758, at the age of 10 months.

Ursula Eigel, aged 58 years, of Duerrenberg in the Archbishopric of Salzburg, died Nov. 8, 1758, and was buried on the 10th.
