The following data is extracted from Church Record of Old Ebenezer Church, Effingham County, Georgia.

Timothy Traugott, son of Christopher Frederick Triebner and his wife Frederica Mary, was born Dec. 29, 1777, and baptized Jan. I, 1778. Sponsors were Mr. Christopher Kraemer and Mrs. Elizabeth Wertsch, Mr. Daniel Weitmann and his wife Salome.

Salome, daughter of Solomon Schrempf and his wife Christiana Elizabeth, was born Jan. 28, 1778, and baptized on the 19th. Sponsors: Andrew Sekinger and Catharine his wife and Judith Kraus.

Johanna Juliana, daughter of Mr. Jacob Buehler and his wife Christiana Elizabeth, was born in the night between Feb. 10-11, 1778, and baptized on the 13th. Sponsors were John Mezger, Catharine Michler, Mrs. Elizabeth Wertsch and Catharine Gravenstein.

Samuel, Son of Christopher Hudson and Sarah his wifes, being born on Jun. 26th, 1777, and baptized the 12th of Febr., 1778. Godfathers being both Parents.

John, Son of Thomas Garneth and Rachel his Wife, being born on the 4th of Decbr. 1776, bapt. on the 12th of Febr. 1778. Godfather being both Parents.

Jeremiah, son of Mr. John Kuebler and Elizabeth his wife, was born March 16, 1778, and baptized on the 19th. Sponsors were Mr.% 9Frisch and his wife Susannah, John Philip Schneider and his wife.

Elizabeth, daughter of John Remshardt and Christiana Elizabeth his wife, was born March 22, 1778, and baptized on the 24th. Sponsors are Samuel Kraus and Judith his wife and Johanna Lackner.

Christian, son of John Eigel and his wife, was born March 28, 1778, and baptized on the 30th. Sponsors were Christian Zipperer and his wife, Lewis Frisch and his wife.

Solomon, son of John Maurer and his wife Anna, was born April 11, 1778, and baptized on the 12th. Mr. Christopher Kraemer and Catharine his wife were sponsors.

Lydia, daughter of Jacob Kiefer ,and his wife Dorothea, was born April 13, 1778, and baptized on the 18th. Mr. Kuebler and his wife were sponsors.

Andrew, son of John Lastinger and his wife, and Elizabeth, a pair of twins, were born Febr. 12, 1778, and baptized April (?) 24, 1778. Sponsors were George Mengersdorff and Gotthilf Israel Schmidt, Mary Magdalene Gruber and Christiana Niess.

Hannah, daughter of Jacob Heussler and Anna Mary his wife, was born June 12, 1778, and baptized on the 17th. Sponsors are Ernst Christian Zittrauer and Johanna his wife.

Elizabeth, daughter of Israel Rieser and his wife Hannah, was born July 23, 1778, and baptized the next day. Sponsors were Nathanael Rieser and Dorothea his wife besides Dorothea Zant, widow.
James, Son of William King, being old, has been baptized Augst. 6th, 1778, Godfather being the Childs Father and Mother Elizabeth Westit (?).

Frederick William Iliner, a soldier's son of Col. Wight's battalion, was born Aug. 9, 1778, and baptized on the 12th. Sponsors were George Unselt and Miss Cath. Hekel in Savannah.

David, son 0f John Helmle and his wife Mary Magd., was born Aug. 17, 1778, and baptized Aug. 21st. Sponsors: Christian Steiner and his wife, D. Maxen and his wife of Goshen.

Christiana, daughter of Andrew Sekinger and his wife Catharine, was born Aug. 23, 1778, and baptized the next day. Sponsors were Christian Israel Leimberger, Widow Flerl and George Ziegler and his wife.

Johanna Salome, daughter of the schoolmaster Daniel Weitmann and Salome his wife, was born Aug. 31, 1778, and baptized on Sept. 2nd. Sponsors: Christopher Frederick Triebner and Frederica Mary his wife and Johanna Christiana Lemcke.

Andrew, son of Andrew Gnan and his wife Anna Francisca, was born Sept. 3, 1778, and baptized on the 4th. Sponsors: Daniel Weitmann and Salome his wife, who were represented by Johanna Christiana Lemcke, and John Rothenberger.

Salome, daughter of George Gruber, was born Nov. 1, 1778, and baptized on the 2nd. Sponsors : Jacob Gnan and Hannah his wife and Catharine Gravenstein.

Margaret, daughter of Jacob Gnan and his wife Hannah, was born Nov. 26, 1778, and baptized the same day. Sponsors were John George Gruber and his wife, J0hn Paulus and his wife.

Mary, a soldier's child, which Mr. Jacob Buehler adopted, was baptized on Nov. 8, 1778. Mr. Jacob and his wife were sponsors.

Sophia, a Negro child belong to Christine Kiefer, was born Nov. 20, and baptized Nov. 21, 1778. Christine Kiefer and Dorothea Flerl were sponsors.

Gratiosa, daughter of Ernst Zittrauer and his wife Johanna, was born Dec. 21, 1778, and baptized 0n the 22nd. Sponsors were Jonathan Zipperer, who was represented by Simon Reiter, and Gratiosa Zipperer.
