The following data is extracted from Church Record of Old Ebenezer Church, Effingham County, Georgia.

David, child of John Jacob Metzcher and Margaret his wife, was born Jan. 15, 1765, and baptized on the 16th Sponsors were Mr. John Caspar Wertsch and his wife Hannah Elizabeth, John Paulus and his wife.

Immanuel, son of John George Ziegler and his wife Catharine, was born Jan. 21, 1765 early, and baptized the 22nd. Sponsors were David Steiner, John G. Haid and Anna Mary Flerl.

Timothy, son of John Martin Greiner and his wife Mary, was born Feb. 2, 1765 very early, and baptized in the afternoon of the same day in Zion Church. Sponsors were Mr. Wertsch, Mackh in Goshen and Mrs. Lackner.

Salome, daughter of George Weber and his wife, was born April 3, 1765, and baptized the 4th. Sponsors were Mr. Wertsch and his wife and Mary Flerl.

Mary, daughter of Christian Birck and his wife, was born April 20, 1765, and baptized on the following Sun-day. Sponsors were Ruprecht Zimmerebener, Mrs. Wertsch and Mrs. Pastor Boltzius.

George, child of George Fischer and Mary his wife, was born May 19, 1765 in Bethany, and baptized in the after-noon of the same day. Sponsors were Mr. Wertsch and Mrs. Finck.

Henry Lewis, son of John George Gravenstein and his wife Ca-, was born May 21, 1765, and baptized on the 22nd. Sponsors were Lewis Buntz, his wife and John Michel.

George, a Negro boy who was born June 15, 1765, was baptized on the 19th, when the owners, namely Pastor Henry Lemcke and his wife, acted as sponsors.

Abiel, son of John George Haid and Eleonora his wife, was born June 27 before day, and baptized on the 28th. Sponsors were John Flerl sen. and his wife Mary and John George Ziegler.

David, son of Michael Rieser and his wife Apollonia, was born in the night between July 8-9, 1765, and baptized in the forenoon of the 9th. Sponsors were Mr. Kieffer, Mrs. Mayer, Mr. Wertsch and his wife.

Jacob, son of Joseph Schubtrein and Mary his wife, was born July 12, 1765 in the evening, and baptized on the following day. Sponsors were Conrad Rahn, Nichol. Schubtrein and his wife.

Hannah, daughter of John George Schneider and his wife Barbara, was born July 12 and baptized on the 13th, 1765. Sponsors were George Faul and his wife Rebecca.

Frederick, son of Frederick Rester and his wife Mary Margaret, was born in Purysburg Township, May 16, 1765, and baptized July 22 in Jerusalem Church. Sponsors were Mr. Wertsch and his wife.

Margaret, daughter of Nicholas Winckler and his wife Anna Barbara, was born in Purysburg Township, May 15, 1765, and baptized there July 23rd. Sponsors were George Stuckardt and Marg. his wife, and Anna Mary, the wife of Lewis Winckler.

Henry, son of Jacob Strohbart and his wife Mary Catherine, was born July 19, 1765 in Purysburg Township, and baptized there on the 23rd. Sponsors were Ottilie Mengersdorff and her son George Mengersdorff and Henry Chendrow.

Hannah Margaret, daughter of Isr. Leimberger and his wife Apol., was born July 25, 1765, and baptized before evening. Sponsors were John Adam Treutle, his wife and Hannah Elizabeth Flerl.

Michael, son of Gabriel Maurer and his wife Anna, was born Aug. 26, 1765, and baptized the same day. Sponsors were Charles Siegmund Ott and his wife.

The Negress of Flerl jun. or Brandner gave birth on Sept. 4 to a boy who was baptized Sept. 11, and died the same day. Sponsors were G. Zittrauer.

Agatha, daughter of John Hangleitner and his wife Ursula, was born Sept. 23, 1765 in the evening at 10 o'clock, and baptized on the 24th. Sponsors were John Casp. Wertsch and his wife Hannah Elizabeth and Mrs. Landfelder.

Jedidith, son of Lewis Weitmann and his wife Anna Eva, was born Sept. 24, 1765, and baptized on the 25th. Sponsors were Pastor Lemcke and his wife.

David, son of John Heinle and his wife Mary, wag born Sept. 28, 1765 early, and baptized on the same day. Sponsors were G. Faul and his wife Rebecca.

Mary Magdalene, daughter of Daniel Schubtrein and his wife Magdalene, was born in the night before Oct. 5, 1765, and baptized the same day. Sponsors were Christopher Kraemer and his wife, Paul Mueller and his wife.

Adam, Mr. Keiffer's Negro child, was born on his plantation Oct. 15, 1765, and baptized on the 17th in Jerusalem Church. Sponsors were Mr. Kieffer, the owner, and his daughter Elizabeth.

Daniel, son of John Remshardt and his wife Anna Margaret, was born Oct. 26, 1765, and baptized on the 27th. Sponsors were Samuel Kraus and Judith his wife.

Hannah, a Negro girl on Mr. von Muench's land, was born Oct. 26, 1765 and baptized on the 30th. Sponsors were Mr. Christian von Muench and his wife, who were represented by Mrs. Lemcke and John Scheraus.

Moses, child of an Englishman, Arthur Royal and Anna his wife, was born Dec. 13, 1764, and baptized Nov. 7, 1765 in Jerusalem Church. Sponsors were the parents, also the grandmother Anna Christiana Baill.

John, a Negro child belonging to David Steiner, was born Nov. 11, 1765 in the night, and baptized the same day. Sponsors were David Steiner and Anna Margaret his wife.

Matth. Bidenbach's wife gave birth to a stillborn boy, Nov. 26, 1765.

N. B.-Up to this point those baptized reported to the Society.

John, Schweiger's Negro child, was born Dec. 10, 1765, and baptized on the 11th. Sponsors were Schweiger and his wife Margaret.

Judith, daughter of young Flerl and his wife Hannah Elizabeth, was born Dec. 25, 1765, and baptized on the 26th. Sponsors were Samuel Kraus and Judith his wife.
