Dittemore, James Emmett
The following data is extracted from Record of Ancestors and Descendants of Adam Dittemore 1799-1874 and Henry Dittemore 1813-1884.
James Emmett Dittemore, born May 2, 1848, in Buchanan County, Mo., where he spent all his life. He was married June 14, 1868, to Miss Mary Elizabeth Lux, who was born in Indiana, Oct. 12, 1852. He died Feb. 5,1918. His widow lives with her sons on their farms south of St. Joseph. Their children:
195. HENRY MICHAEL DITTEMORE, born April 29, 1869, died May 21, 1910. Married Emmabelle Gabbert, Oct. 17, 1889. They had two children, Charley and Verta, both now dead.
196. Enos, b. August 9, 1871, d. August 18, 1872.
197. Sarah Graycilla, b. May 1. 1876.
198. Charley, b. Sept. 18, 1877, d. March 6. 1879.
199. PEARLIE MAY DITTEMORE, born Feb. 8, 1881. Married Dec. 2, 1903, William Ethel Sampson. He is a farmer and they live north of DeKalb, Mo.
200. James Emmett, Jr., b. Sept. 5, 1886.
201. William Andrew, b. March 26, 1891.
