Dittemore, John
The following data is extracted from Record of Ancestors and Descendants of Adam Dittemore 1799-1874 and Henry Dittemore 1813-1884.
John Dittemore was born in 1789. He was married to Sarah Hale. We know very little about their lives. She was probably a native of Tennessee as they lived in Greene County during their early married life and Henry, their fourth child, was born there. John, no doubt, moved to Indiana in 1815 with his father Michael. John and Sarah are buried in the Old Gosport cemetery. John died in May, 1839. They had ten children.

16. GEORGE DITTEMORE was born May 10, 1814, and came to Missouri with his wife Eliza and son Wallace. George died March 10, 1850 and his wife soon after. Their son Wallace went to California on reaching legal age and nothing further is known of him.
