Enlisted at Concord, N.C., July 13, 1917, 113th F. A., 30th Div., Btry. F. Reported for duty at Camp Sevier, Greenville, S. C. Sailed for France May 27, 1918. Trained at Camp Coequidon Artly. Camp. Was in the St. Mihiel drive and Argonne Forest offensive. Sailed for USA March 6, 1919; discharged March 29th at Camp Jackson.
